fine wines and delicious home cooked food.
Under new ownership since June
2011 we have increased the real ales to 6 pumps, with Woodefords
Wherry and the main IPA. Nutty Black Mild is proving extremely
popular! We have also featured ESB, Thwaites, Wainwrights,
London Pride and a quickly sold Head Cracker, to name but a few.
The pub dates back to around the
17th Century and features characteristic low beams (mind your
head please!) and great ambience. Bar snacks and meals are
served between noon and 2.30pm Monday to Sunday. It is advisable
to book Sunday lunches
in advance.
