THE CLUB
The
Riverside Snooker Club is the only dedicated snooker club in St
Neots and it occupies the historic
building known as the Oast House and Maltings. The sixty foot high
Oast House or Barley Kiln dates from the 1730's and has been
designated an ancient monument. The Maltings, situated either side
of the Kiln, were added around 1790 and are listed buildings.
The club is situated next to
the Priory Centre and adjoins the St Neots Library.
A fully licensed bar is
inside the Oast House Kiln which rises fifty feet above the bar
and can be viewed through panels in the ceiling. Luxurious dralon
seating has been provided inside the bar, where members can eat,
drink or just relax.
THE TABLES
The club boasts eight
excellent tables, which are covered with the finest quality
'West of England' cloth and were provided by the world famous
manufacturers E.J. Riley. We also have four top quality pool
tables in a seperate room.
